Growing Kindness Holiday Cheer Campaign

Tickets are by donation. Your donation helps us offset the cost of materials to make 300 floral centerpieces and also helps support program development for The Growing Kindness Project, a 501c3 organization.

Step into the beautiful, historic Schoolhouse at Christianson's Nursery and surround yourself with holiday cheer and good will. The Holiday Cheer Workshop is part crafting and creating, part community and connection, 100% joy and giving back!

In this workshop, floral designer and Growing Kindness founder, Deanna Kitchen will guide you through the simple steps and techniques to create lush, dynamic holiday centerpieces using evergreens, unique foliages, berries, and more.

Then, while you sip a warm beverage and enjoy the beauty and fragrance of the evergreens, conversation, and connection, you'll work to craft several centerpieces knowing that each one will be bringing joy and kindness to a local longterm care resident.

Whether you're an experienced florist or have never touched a stem, all are welcome! No experience is necessary!

Your ticket donation helps us offset the cost of the flowers and materials needed for us to provide 300 centerpieces to local longterm care residents.

It thrills our hearts to be able to gather together to enjoy a few hours surrounded by the scent of evergreens, the sound of Christmas music and joyful conversation, and the satisfaction of creating beauty to gift to another who could really use some extra care and kindness this season.
