About the event
Please join us in celebrating fantastic summer school sessions with a fun community event from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Twin City Elementary.
The Summer School Showcase event is free and open to the public. We will have a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy, including:
- A student art show
- Booths from local community groups Who will contact these groups?
- Snacks
- Free books
- Games and activities
- Music and dancing
The Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission (SCAAC) will have our Mobile Arts Center (MAC) on site and local artists will lead attendees in an art activity. SCAAC artists provided art education during our summer school classes and will be displaying the students’ work in a student art exhibit through out the event.
