August Artist Salon

ArtMusings in August:

A summer evening of sharing that which moves and inspires us most.

Local artist and art educator Gaylynn Beuthien will lead this show-and-tell of heart, mind & soul. Attendees are invited to bring an artifact that serves as a springboard to describe their most valued "ArtMusing", such as a work of art, an instrument, a dance move, an object that represents or symbolizes the concept they choose to share, etc.

It will be an opportunity to share out that which most inspires/influences you in your creative pursuits and passions for art making, working, or living. We’re leaving it open to all art forms and beyond for those self-described non-artists in the group. Afterall: we are each the creators and artists of our life!

Come prepared to discuss the inspiration and muse behind your artwork or artifact in a round robin share-out where each will have 3 - 5 minutes to share, and then pass the sharing onto the next participant.

After all have had a turn to participate, we will open the floor for further inquiry, discussion and feedback with time for socialization.
