Artist Reception for Laisha Kneuven

With a BA in Art and Education Laisha taught junior and senior high school art in Southeast Iowa in the mid 70’s. At that time her media of choice was oil painting. Her subject matter focused on still life and landscapes of the Midwest. After living in Hawaii, California and at last to the Pacific Northwest each change enriched her art and life experience. Now her media of choice includes watercolor, gouache, acrylics and pastels. She enjoys exploring color, texture and shapes from nature and is a member of Skagit Artists and Camano Art Guild. Creating a painting from her observations or with playful fantasy brings much joy.

Her art will be displayed and for sale the entire month of May.

The Gallery is open 7 days a week.

We will be serving pop,wine, bottled water and individual bags of chips for the reception on May 5 from 5 - 7pm
