Dive Into Color

Dive into Color is a drop-in class offered 4 Tuesdays (June 27, July 11, July 18, July 25) for up to 10 students ages 5 – 12. Registration is separate for each Tuesday class. Different mediums will be used each week; students could attend multiple sessions.

June 27: Blending

July 11: Warm & Cool Colors

July 18: Tints, Tones & Shades

July 25: Color Harmonies

Each class is $20 per student.

Following the series, some of the art created in these classes will be featured in a public art show at The Loft at Camano Commons from Sept 21 - Oct 4. Like last year, we will have an opening for the artists and their families. More details to come!

The mobile classroom can accommodate up to 10 students. Each class will be 2 hours long. Students will spend the first 15 minutes with SCAAC volunteers preparing to learn. There will then be 2 hours of hands-on, age appropriate instruction.

Teachers will be skilled educators with art backgrounds, experienced in teaching various ages. The final 15 minutes will be spent making sure students have finished their projects and are ready for pick up.
