About the event
The Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission (SCAAC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce Joanna Sikes as our new Executive Director.
Joanna brings a wealth of experience in arts leadership. She served as the Executive Director of the Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA) in La Conner, WA from 2017 to 2022 and was the founding Executive Director of The Imagine Museum in St. Petersburg, FL. Her passion for glass art led her to become a founding member of the Tacoma Museum of Glass, where she served as Director of External Affairs. She also played a key role in the Dale Chihuly Studio in Seattle as Director of Special Projects Worldwide.
Joanna has held leadership roles in art museums, including Executive Director, Chief Curator, and Director of Development, among others. She has also served on the boards of Cornish College of the Arts and the Skagit Valley Symphony.
