MAC Fest!

MAC Fest is “Merging Art & Community”! We are excited to celebrate SCAAC’s mission to build community through the arts with this 9-day arts festival. With classes, workshops, film screenings, artist talks, evening events and more – this is our opportunity to bring art lovers from our area together and say THANK YOU for supporting us.

MAC Fest will include:

- A Block Party on the brick road

- Mural fest

- Free workshops

- Classes for all ages

- A film screening of the Glass Quest documentary short

- An intimate dinner with Seattle chef, Logan Cox of Homer

- Artist salons and gatherings

- Live music

- Karaoke dance party!

- And MORE!

Why an arts fest?

We thought about an annual gala - selling tickets to a one night event (with dinner & auction) that would showcase SCAAC’s work, and ask for support. Typically, these events host 100 - 250 people.

We decided to create an event that welcomes the entire community (& beyond) to experience all that SCAAC has to offer. Inviting many to participate – taking classes, coming to the evening events, participating in the artist salons, visiting the Mobile Art Center – will broaden SCAAC’s reach and impact. And build community in a way that a single night can’t.
