Unpack your Baggage & Repack for the Life YOU Envision at the Intersection of Art & Writing
Designed for participant’s individualized healing expression using the teacher's guided and uniquely created art modality of combining images with words to navigate and release emotions, stress, anxiety, trauma or personal issues.
Discover your layers through both hidden, revealed and personally-embellished art in this intuitive and process based approach to art making. Time for optional & confidential sharing provided at class end.
Materials provided for two dimensional work or bring your chosen favorites!
MATERIALS NOTE: Feel free to move into the 3rd dimension by bringing a container that represents a suitcase (this could be a small suitcase, small box, or even a tin mint container) and any mementos or found objects representing what you would like to UNPACK, as well as those you would like to REPACK for your journey moving forward. You could also create this as a relief piece where participant supplied smaller 3d objects are glued to a piece of participant supplied wood, matboard, or foam core. Your choice of working in 2 or 3D!
All Levels: Beginning to Advanced Artists, Writers, & Internal Explorers
