Paper Tulip Workshop

Class Description:

Join paper flower artist and author Quynh Nguyen of The New Art of Paper Flowers for a creative afternoon of art, conversation, and inspiration. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to craft one of Quynh’s favorite blooms, the delicate tulip from European crepe paper. She’ll guide you through the basic components of the tulip, including how to cut, miter, and shape the petals, build the center, and assemble your flower into a graceful bloom to take home.

After the workshop, stay for a special artist talk where Quynh will share her creative journey, from discovering the joy of paper flowers to creating a museum piece for the Cleveland Museum of Art and publishing her first book. *Please register separately for the artist talk.
