About the event

LIZ PARKOriginally from Pennsylvania, Liz graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006 with a B.F.A in Painting. Â Â She then moved out to the Tetons (Jackson Hole, WY) where she lived for 10 years, working as a wrangler on a guest ranch, in the office at a ski resort, and even making granola bars on her way to becoming a full time artist. Â Liz moved to northern Washington state in early 2017, which is where she currently works and resides.
Her medium of choice for many years has been acrylic paint on varnished wood panels - she uses a simplified color palette, and plays with negative space letting the wood grain show through to create interesting compositions, usually of wildlife and mountain scenes.
In 2021, she began experimenting with using watered down acrylic washes on canvas to mimic watercolor, still striving to create an interesting background to create compositions around.
She also loves to draw and use whatever mediums she has on hand to bring to life the parade of fun, strange things that ramble through her brain.
Commissions are currently closed  - the list is a little long at the moment!
Andy EccleshallAndy Eccleshall lives in Edmonds, WA with my wife Ingrid and son Jack. He has been a professional artist for 30 years.
Born in the Midland town of Stafford, England, he began his artistic career at the age of 16 specializing in architectural illustration and landscape painting. Stafford is an ancient town nestled in the lowlands of the North Midlands and surrounded by farmland and moor land. Mist covered pastures in the fall, dramatic scenery of the Pennine Hills and a pastoral rolling landscape with features centuries old, were constant sources of inspiration for Andy.
After several years as a fine artist and illustrator, Andy returned to education in 1992 at the Exeter Faculty of Arts and Design in southern England.
In 1994, he moved to the United States and traveled extensively during the first few years. Andy was dazzled by the enormous contrasts in the landscapes across the country — the beauty of the changing seasons against the never ending and ever changing landscape.
Andy Moved to Seattle in 2000 with his family and to Edmonds in 2002.
He is inspired by drama in nature and contrasts in light and form. Fascinated by atmosphere, light and weather and the moods they create. This country and especially this region is blessed to have such a wealth of inspiration.
