SCAAC CONNECTION:

Sharon Snelling’s painting “Dry Dock”  has been accepted into the The Northwest Watercolor Society’s annual membership exhibition, Waterworks Online.

“Dry Dock" was inspired by a trip to Morocco with several other artists from Camano Island, WA. The scene is from a bustling fishing harbor in Essouaira.  I love the blues and teals of the ships and blue is a recurring color all through Morocco. It was a wonderful journey filled with color and light and wonderful people.”

Juror David R. Smith, a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society and others, had the honor of reviewing the entries. “As watermedia can be challenging, I was impressed at the quality of work.

Sharon’s website is sharonlynnart.com where you can see this and other work.
