About the event

Come one, come all!

SCAAC is thrilled to invite you to our first Open House at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center. This event will be an opportunity for our community (bring the whole family!) to learn about SCAAC, meet our leadership, ask questions & have fun. Stay as long as you can.

We will showcase the Legacy Art Cards collaboration with the Stanwood Area Historical Society, in which 12 SCAAC artists selected artifacts from the SAHS collection, and created an inspired piece of art. See below for a list of artists and their mediums.

We will share designs of the Mobile Art Center (MAC) - SCAAC's gallery/studio/workshop/classroom on wheels! We have an incredible design from Built Design in Everett; the space can be completely transformed to meet the needs of the day. We're excited to bring the MAC to our area schools, parks, businesses and events. We'll host art classes, local artists and more. Help us get the MAC on the road! We're offering sponsorship opportunities for local businesses, and a chance for community members to get their names on the donor wall. Come learn more!

We'll have a kids corner with an art activity, too.

And of course, we will eat, drink and be merry! Hope you can join us!
