SCAAC has been putting on arts events and providing education in the community for several years. We want to celebrate that success with fun art stuff for everyone…and introduce ourselves to anyone that doesn’t know us yet.

We’ll kick off MAC Fest with a Block Party on Saturday, August 30th on the brick road...right in front of the future Meyer Art Center. For the whole weekend, we’ll offer arts education, events and activities for all ages. Come celebrate art and community with us!

We can only do what we do with YOU! There are so many ways to volunteer from planning and preparing in advance, setting-up events, helping during classes, clean up, writing thank you's to sponsors and donors, etc. If you have a few hours to help out, let us know what you would like to do and we'll get you to the right place!

Because they're fun! Community events gather people together to connect over a shared experience. Our mission is to build community through the arts...so...just makes sense!

Attending MAC Fest events will support SCAAC's programs, introduce new people to what we do, and welcoming our entire community (& beyond) to experience all that SCAAC has to offer.

We are partnering with artists, businesses and other organizations to include a wide variety of art events and education. Be sure to check the location of events and classes when purchasing tickets.

We have a youth and adult clay based classes at the same time so there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy:

- 3D Clay Animals (youth art class) at Box of Good

- Clay Bowl Making (teen and adult art class) at Box of Good

Monday - September 1st

We have two all ages workshops at Arrowhead Ranch. Bring your family and a pinic to enjoy between workshops:

- Drumming & Percussion Workshop

- Juggling & Circus Arts Workshop

MAC Fest will kick off on August 30th with a Block Party on the brick road in Stanwood. We've partnered up with area businesses to throw a great party! We’ll close the block to traffic, and bring in live music, food trucks, live art, a makers market, and more!
