About the event

Visual Body Mapping at the Intersection of Art & Writing!

Designed for participant’s individualized healing expression using the teacher's guided and uniquely created art modality of combining images with words to navigate and release emotions, stress, anxiety, trauma or personal issues.

Discover your layers through both hidden, revealed and personally-embellished art in this intuitive and process based approach to art making. Class incorporates Movement, Guided Meditation, and Time for optional & confidential Sharing at class end.

Basic materials provided or bring your chosen favorites.

Bring a floor cushion if choosing to work on lifesize option (recommended).

Table & chair work option also available on smaller scale for accomodations.

All Levels: Beginning to Advanced Artists, Writers, & Internal Explorers

[We maintain a waiting list. If you register and can no longer attend, please contact Emily (programs@scaacwa.org)  at least 48 hours before the workshop so that we can offer your spot to someone else.]

Facilitated with changing themes by Gaylynn Beuthien: Local Artist, Teacher and Healing Thru Arts facilitator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Master's in Education, WA State Endorsed Art Teacher, Art with Heart Facilitator, and PESI Art Therapy Training.
