"When is the art center going to be finished?"

It's easily the question I answer the most when I tell people that I am the ED of SCAAC. In defense of the question, I usually do mention that, which SCAAC is currently putting on youth art programming and engaged in public art with the City of Stanwood and creating a vibrant artist community, we are also "the ones building an art center in town". So, I guess I should just play the hand I'm dealt :)

So to answer: hopefully 2024. We are in the design phase with our architects (Olson Kundig out of Seattle), and are hoping to have a big community event to unveil it when it's ready.
